Muddiest Point #4

This is from the class lecture: Can someone further explain the "dot com bubble" and why that "bubble" burst? Beyond that, what are the ramifications for Internet access, if there are any?

just like any other bubble, it is not real thing. dot com bubble was a bubble was that those burst dot com companies should never get support anyway, but at that time, people all think dot com companies, any of them, would make money, so tons of money poured in. when people realize that not all dot com companies make money, most of the companies burst. but the left over companies are really good dot com companies, like amazon, google, yahoo, etc.
